Swansfield Park Alnwick NE66 1AB

Located within minutes of the main A1 above Alnwick town centre 30 miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed and 32 miles north of Newcastle.

The 18 holes stretch over 6,250 yards and not clustered together so that each hole feels less like an extension of the others and more like an individual challenge.  There are many natural hazards that can play havoc with any stray shots, including open grassland and gorse.

The course provides a fantastic test of golf with a mix of a par threes, fours and fives.

Their signature hole is the 12^th know as the “Lang Whang’ – it is an uphill dog leg (left) par 5 culminating in a raised green – a par here or better and you’ll be delighted.

Located on the beautiful Northumberland coastline half a mile to the north of the village of Alnmouth with easy access from the main A1 and A1068 coast road. Alnwick is a ten minute drive away.

The Golf Club was established 1869 the fourth oldest golf club in England.  The existing course was created in 1930 by the famous golf course architect H.S.Colt providing a testing and enjoyable challenge to this day using his trademark steep slopes and run off areas to protect the greens. The course is a fine test of golf 6525 yards long, par 71 for men 5752yards par 74 for ladies.

Located in Northumberland and the Borders.  With its ever-changing North Seas breezes, it is an excellent test of golf and a challenge for both low and high handicaps.  18 hole 6294/6452 yards.  Founded in 1890 the original 9 holes were laid out by the famous Golf Architect James Braid and extended to 18 in 1864.  The first 9 holes were modified in 1964 by Frank Pennick to give added yardage.

Located at Bamburgh Castle it is perched on basalt outcrops overlooking the ancient fortress from which it takes its name.  It is often referred to as the most picturesque in England.  It is also a fine test of golf for all that play it, being a regular venue for County and inter-County events.

Founded in 1913 as a 9-hole course upgraded in 1976 to 18 holes.  The course has hosted many Northumberland County competition events.

The challenging 19^th hole offers golfers the internationally famous Logans Loch to play over.  Golfing on our links offers spectacular views of the coastline from Bamburgh to Beadnell and out to the Farne Islands.
