Despite strom Chiara and power cuts etc, we have a delightful, as always, in the peace and beauty of the boathouse

What a wonderful and tranquil place to spend 4 nights. So magical in many ways and we were blessed with dry weather enabling us to get out and walk and explore this scenic beautiful part of the country. The boathouse was very comfortable and lovely and warm. We slept so well and have relaxed. Thank you for everything and for the yummy hamper.

Such a perfect peaceful place to stay, nothing can beat waking up to the lake in the early morning sun. Swans, nuthatch, woodpecker and heron visited, sadly no otter. We will return when the nigths grow longer and can sit out in the evening and enjoy a glass of red and the view. Thank you for the lovely welcome basket.

Sally and Paul 6th - 13th December
What a find! A lovely retreat in a secluded location. Everything we could have wanted, walks, good food, relaxation, waking up to winter sunshine, the reflection of a full moon on the lake. Its time to leave - rain has replaced the winter sun- making our departure easier. Thank you
