Frequently asked questions

What time can I check in?

Check in is from 4:30pm onwards and departure is by 9:30am. Please note due to the changes we have had to implement with the corona virus we cannot accommodate early arrivals and late departures.

Can I bring my dog?

We allow dogs in all our properties except Middleton Hall Itself 

Is wood provided for the log burners?

The Hall, Coach House and Lake Cottage  have log burners. If you wish to have logs ready and waiting this is a small additional cost of £10

Do you provide fuel for the BBQ's?

All of the properties have a charcoal BBQ for you to use during your stay. We dont provide the fuel however and we do request the BBQ’s are cleaned after your use.

Are towels provided?

We provide bath towels in all of our properties along with all bed linen. Bathrobes and slippers are also added to all bedrooms apart from the twin bedroom in Lake Cottage.

Can I fish in the lake?

Our lake is well stocked with a variety of fish so you are more than welcome to bring your fishing rod and relax by the lake.

We do operate a catch and release policy and we do ask that other guests privacy is respected. We will provide a map to show you where you can set up so you are not imposing on anyone staying at the boathouse.

It is a relatives birthday whilst on our holiday can I celebrate with fireworks?

Unfortunately not, we do ask that no fireworks or chinese lanterns are used during your stay. Our properties are all located in quiet peaceful areas and we do not wish to disturb the wildlife that share our estate with us.
